On February 19, 2000, five extraordinary women chartered Rho Pi Zeta - just
the second Zeta graduate chapter of the millennium!!!! This diverse group
of women, all from various geographic locations from the Midwest to the
Mid-Atlantic to the East Coast, was borne into the Zeta light as undergraduate
members. Upon graduating from their respective colleges and universities, they
realized the greater need to serve the community and to set a standard of
Excellence for those who would tread the path after them.
The charter members of Rho Pi Zeta set high standards in their professional
lives as well. These sorors work in service organizations such as educational
institutions, medical facilities, state departments, and community facilities -
thus demonstrating their personal commitment to improving society.
The sorors of our chapter have devoted numerous hours of service throughout
Massachusetts including a primary focus on the Dorchester Family Branch of the
YMCA along with the Southern Massachusetts area. Such events reflect the
dedication of these sorors to educate, inform and assist our community members,
thus sharing the dream of our Founders.
Today, Rho Pi Zeta is composed of ambitious, bright young women - most
originating from different Undergraduate chapters. We realized that the work of
Zeta does not stop after graduating from college. The light of Zeta must and
will always burn! Please visit our Chapter Officers page to learn more about Rho
Pi Zeta chapter members and officers. |
